Unitank/Fermenter

The unitank/fermenter is the most common style of fermenting vessel. Yeast is added to the wort and controlled fermentation takes place. Fermentation times vary greatly depending upon beer style, type of yeast and fermentation temperatures. The size and number of fermenters are two major factors that determine the annual production of a brewery.

All tanks come standard with 25% head space on top of working volume.  All Cone come standard with a Racking Arm.
The cooling system is a dimple jacket with insulated Polyurethane filled.  All tanks are designed for up to 14.7 PSI and tested at 30 PSI.  The inside of the tanks are polished to Ra≤22um and the outside is a brushed / Satin finish.

The characteristics of brewing conical fermenter
1 The bottom is tapered to facilitate the discharge of yeast at any time during the production process, requiring the use of cohesive yeast.
2 The tank itself has a cooling device to facilitate the control of the fermentation temperature, the fermentation cycle is shortened, there is less chance of contamination, and the beer quality is stable.
3 The outside of the tank is equipped with a heat preservation device, which can place the tank outside, reduce the construction investment, save the floor space, and facilitate the expansion.
4 Closed tanks are used to facilitate CO2 scrubbing and CO2 recovery. Fermentation can also be performed under certain pressure.
5 The broth in the tank produces a gradient of CO2 due to the liquid height (ie, a density gradient is formed). Through the cooling control, the fermentation broth can be naturally convecated. The higher the tank, the stronger the convection. Due to the strong convection, yeast fermentation capacity increases and the fermentation cycle shortens.
6 The fermentation tank can be controlled by a meter or a computer. The operation is simple and easy to manage.
7 Can use CIP automatic cleaning device, easy to clean.
8 Conical tanks are easy to process (can be processed on site at the site) and have strong practicality.
9 The equipment capacity can be flexibly adjusted according to the production needs. The capacity can be 20m3-600m3 and the maximum can be 1500m3.
